Quick Repair Lite - An Affordable Graphical Repair Solution

Quick Repair Features

Paperless Repair
An electronic copy of the 3070 repair ticket is automatically sent to Quick Repair Lite and displayed on the screen when the operator scans in the serial number, which helps to remove the need for paper on the shop floor. Inefficiencies associated with paper tickets are also eliminated!

Graphical Repair
An image of the board being repaired is displayed along side the electronics ticket, so the operator can quickly navigate to the failure, even if they have never seen the board before! This feature helps to reduce learning curves and repair times.

Repair Data Collection
Once the operator has fixed the problem they can quickly and easily use the Quick Repair Lite GUI to capture the repair cause and action via two configurable drop down menus. Repair data is then automatically sent to Web-PBQ for analysis.

No CAD Translation
Quick Repair Lite uses the standard Agilent 3070 files in the board directory (e.g. board, board_xy, wireless and fixture files). There is no need for additional software or preparation stages, which makes board graphic creation easy and fast.

Rework Productivity Tools
Quick Repair includes several easy to use productivity features that focus on reducing repair times:

  Find pin or test probe
  Find shorts
  Display part information
  Auto Zoom
  Automatic repair ticket search

Web-PBQ Integration
Quick Repair Lite can be configured to automatically output and transfer repair data to Web-PBQ.  Repair data is in Derby's Data Collection Format so it is automatically processed and stored in the Web-PBQ database. Once repair data is captured by Web-PBQ users can:

  Use the Repair Cause Report to determine why failures are occurring
  Use the Repair Action Report to determine what is being done to correct failures
  Use the Production Summary report to summarize rework activities (e.g. repair times)
  Store repair data on-line in a relational database
  Quickly and accurately analyze test and repair data in real-time
  Eliminate the need for manual and paper-based quality analysis and reporting

Test-based Solution
Quick Repair Lite is a tester-based solution, so it can be run directly on the Agilent i3070 removing the need for an additional PC or IT resources.
