Web Push Button Quality (Web-PBQ) - Tester-based Quality

Web-PBQ from Derby Associates is an easy-to-use, web-based quality management tool that runs on the Agilent Medalist i3070 incircuit tester and TS-5400 functional tester.

Web-PBQ was designed to work with the tester’s standard data logging infrastructure - "Simply switch on data logging and use Web-PBQ to run reports on your test data".  Web-PBQ provides a simple, fast and effective way to turn test data into information that can be used to improve production and test program quality.

Web-PBQ Overview-i3070s.jpg (108338 bytes)

Web-PBQ is easy to install, and can be up and running in a matter of minutes and generating reports on live test data in less than an hour! Web-PBQ is targeted at low volume production environments (e.g. New Product Introduction runs) and is an excellent tool for enabling shop floor personnel to check first pass yield or test engineers to monitor test program performance/quality.

Web-PBQ Features

Tester-Based Solution
Web-PBQ runs on the Agilent Medalist i3070 Incircuit Tester, Agilent TS-5400 Functional Test Series and Agilent TestExec SL Test Executive Platform. No need for additional hardware or IT resources.

Automated Test Data Collection
Once the standard data logging services are set-up on the tester, Web-PBQ will automatically capture log data and store it in its built-in database. No manual data entry, faster access to data with less errors!

Built-In Statistical Reports
Web-PBQ comes standard with five statistical quality control reports that enable users to quickly monitor first pass yield and production quality on the shop floor.   Web-PBQ supports the following quality reports:

bullet01.gif (64 bytes)  Production Summary by Assembly (Serialized)
bullet01.gif (64 bytes)  Production Summary by Assembly (Non-Serialized)
bullet01.gif (64 bytes)  Yield by Board Type
bullet01.gif (64 bytes)  Defect Analysis by Test Designator
bullet01.gif (64 bytes)  Measurement Histograms (inc. Cpk/mean)

NEW Test Utilization Reports
NEW The Test Resource Utilization & Efficiency (TRUE) Reports provides users with a quick and effective method to monitor and improve test utilization within the test workcell. The following 7 reports can be added to Web-PBQ:

bullet01.gif (64 bytes)  Single Tester Utilization Reports
bullet01.gif (64 bytes)  Multiple Tester Utilization Reports

Measurement Data Analysis
Web-PBQ can store and analyze test measurements which enables test engineers to maintain test program quality or monitor key functional test specifications.

Export Report Data
Users can export Web-PBQ data into Microsoft Excel or to a CSV file so they can create their own reports.

Built-In Relational Database
Web-PBQ has a built-in relational database that can store measurement, defect and event data from ATE. The database has a small footprint that greatly simplifies installation and set-up.

Report Scheduling
Reports can be executed immediately or at a later date/time, which enables the user to pick the ideal time to run the report to ensure data is always ready at the right time!

Web Browser Interface
Access to Web-PBQ is via a standard web browser, so users can run the application at the tester, from a PC on the internal network or from a remote site, providing the freedom to generate and view reports from almost anywhere! Simply start up a browser and navigate to Web-PBQ, the application will prompt the user for a user name and password, providing secure access. The Create Report template simplifies the reporting process by navigating the user through the report generation process. All executed reports are placed in the user's Inbox.

Web-centric Technology
Web-PBQ has a multi-tier web architecture that is based on Sun Microsystems' Java technology, which makes this application platform independent and highly scalable. The user interface uses a standard web browser, which makes user access easy and very flexible, as there is no need to load any client software on the user's PC.

Scalability
Derby offers a scalable range of Quality Management Solutions (QMS), Web-PBQ is a part of the Derby QMS offering and is based on the same web-centric technology and data collection framework as the other solutions. Customers can start with Web-PBQ and upgrade to other offerings in Derby's QMS. "Start with what you need today and scale up if your needs increase".
