Derby’s product offering provides automated data collection and web-based decision support solutions for the electronics manufacturing industry. At the core of Derby’s decision support solution is Shop Floor Connect (SFConnect) a robust data collection and information interchange framework that supports the widest range of commercial Automated Test Equipment (ATE) links in the industry. SFConnect facilitates information interchange on the shop floor or across the global manufacturing supply chain and enables OEM and EMS companies to collect, share and independently consume raw shop floor data. Several of Derby’s customers are currently using SFConnect to seamlessly collect product data from their global manufacturing supply chain.In today’s highly dispersed electronics manufacturing supply chain, where product data can be produced and consumed from anywhere around the world, the need and demand for web-based decision support has increased. Derby has responded to this emerging business need by launching a new Web-based Decision Support solution called Shop Floor Insight, which provides access to product data via the Internet enabling users across the global enterprise to improve decision support regardless of where manufacturing is being performed.
Derby also provides a family of stand-alone applications called TIMESolutions that focus on consuming raw data from the shop floor for product or process decision support. TIMESolutions focuses on addressing decision support functions that are specific to the electronics industry (e.g. paperless and graphical repair).
